In the first chart, the y-axis units are sessions. The y-axis values range from 0 to 40. The x-axis units are hours of day, shown in 10-minute intervals. The values range from 11:00 a.m. to 12:20 p.m. The following types of information are tracked in the chart: Active Serial Sessions and Active Parallel Sessions. The chart shows that serial sections remain at around 45. Parallel session activity at level 10 begins at 11:30 a.m.
In the second chart, the y-axis units are sessions. The y-axis values range from 0 to 20. The x-axis units are hours of day, shown in 10-minute intervals. The values range from 11:00 a.m. to 12:20 p.m. The following types of information are tracked in the chart: Parallel QC and Parallel Slaves. The chart shows minor parallel slaves activity at level 5 beginning at 11:30 a.m. There is minor Parallel QA activity during the same time period.

The values range from 11:20 a.m. to 12:20 p.m. The following types of information are tracked in the chart: DDL Statements Parallelize, DML Statements Parallelize, and Queries Parallelized. The parallel queries activity spikes to 3 per second at 11:30 a.m. and remains fairly constant.
In the fourth chart, the y-axis units are per second. The y-axis values range from 0 to 3. The x-axis units are hours of day, shown in 10-minute intervals. The values range from 11:20 a.m. to 12:20 p.m. The following types of information are tracked in the chart: Serialized, Downgraded 100%, Downgraded 75%, Downgraded 50%, Downgraded 25%, and Not Downgraded. The chart a large block of Downgraded 25% activity at 3 per second from 11:30 a.m. to 11:40 a.m. The Downgraded 100% activity spikes to 3 per second at 11:40 a.m. and remains fairly constant at this rate.
