Figure 1-1 illustrates the positions of the various windows displayed in the JDeveloper user interface in their default arrangement. This image shows:

The System, Application, and Connection Navigators, which are usually docked on on the top left hand corner of the screen.

The Code and Visual Editors are docked in the center of the screen

The Component Palette is on the top right corner of the screen.

The Structure window is on the bottom left of the screen.

The Property Inspector is below the Component Palette.

The Log Window is below the Code Editor and Property Inspector.
